Leaves' Eyes biography
Leaves' Eyes was created in 2003, while vocalist Liv Kristine was still employed in the band Theatre of Tragedy, by her husband Alexander Krull and the members of his band Atrocity. After Kristine was fired, Leaves' Eyes became her major focus and their debut album 'Lovelorn' was released in 2004.
May 2005 saw the band release two new CDs. First, the 'Elegy' EP, which served as a taster of the upcoming album, 'Vinland Saga', which was released a few weeks later. Vinland Saga can be described as a concept album, relaying the discovery of Vinland by the Vikings.
Leaves' Eyes started a European tour in April 2006, supported by Atrocity and Elis. Two months later, they released a new EP, titled 'Legend Land'.
